The Challenge
After graduating from Screen Arts, Jason had the skills to make movies but still needed to find himself as a filmmaker. So he did what he now advises others to do: he grabbed hold of the things that inspired him and let them shape his art.
Many years of working on projects with his father in their garage have made Dexter Reeves a process-minded problem-solver. Figuring out how things work and how they could work better – it's what he's all about.
Scott is musical, plays a lot of sports and counts physics, math and biology among his favourite high school courses. But his real passion is the great outdoors. He likes to explore and wants to travel.
Seth loves the 'beautiful game'. In soccer and in life he knows success requires team work, focus, practice, and having a game plan.
Stacy tried culinary arts at another college, but decided it wasn't her thing. Unsure of what she wanted to do, she enrolled in Academic & Career Connections. She learned a lot – especially about herself.
Travis practices Parkour – challenging his abilities to navigate any environment in the most efficient way possible. He's also keen on taking things apart to see how they work. Curiosity and practicality are part of what makes Travis, Travis.
Jacqui loves cake and her passions for all things sweet started early. "I first started liking desserts because my grandmother and my mother were always making them," she says. At 15, she knew her dream was to open a pastry shop.
Alex loves music. After visiting a recording studio when he was young, he got to see all the awesome things a recording engineer can do with music and he was hooked.
